What to Expect

Ala-Archa

Ala-Archa National Park is one of the favorite recreational spots for locals and visitors of Bishkek. Located just 40 km from the capital, it combines accessibility with true mountain wilderness: rushing rivers, coniferous forests, glaciers, and majestic Tien Shan peaks await you just an hour from the city. The park is named after the ala-archa shrub (a multicolored juniper), used in Kyrgyz tradition as a talisman against evil spirits.

The park offers trails for all preferences: from easy valley walks to challenging hikes to the Ak-Sai waterfall or Mount Uchitel. You can have a picnic, spot marmots and mountain goats, breathe the purest air, and enjoy the quiet interrupted only by water and wind rustling through the fir trees.

Ala-Archa is beautiful year-round: green slopes and flower meadows in spring, coolness among the stones in summer, golden leaves in autumn, and snow-covered paths in winter. It’s the perfect spot to escape the city for a day and feel connected to nature.

Supara Ethno Complex

The Supara Ethno Complex is a unique place where you can touch the spirit of ancient nomadic life without leaving the outskirts of Bishkek. Nestled in a scenic gorge near the capital, the complex recreates the atmosphere of a traditional Kyrgyz village with yurts, wooden bridges, streams, and folk architecture. Everything - from carved gates to traditional dishes - immerses you in authenticity.

Visitors can enjoy traditional Kyrgyz food like beshbarmak, kurut, and boorsok, take part in rituals, hear live komuz music, and try on national costumes. The complex also offers workshops, performances, and demonstrations for tourists - including falconry and traditional Kyrgyz games.

Supara is perfect for family outings, festive events, or corporate gatherings in an ethno-style setting. Time slows down here as nature, culture, and hospitality blend into a vivid story of Kyrgyz heritage that stays in your memory.

Chunkurchak Gorge

Chunkurchak Gorge is one of the most accessible and picturesque mountain getaways just 30 kilometers from Bishkek. This narrow valley, surrounded by cliffs and pine forests, is especially popular with those who seek solitude, fresh air, and mountain landscapes. The only sounds here are a mountain stream and birdsong.

In winter, Chunkurchak becomes a cozy ski resort with slopes for beginners and families. In the warmer months, it's ideal for hiking, photo shoots, picnics, and easy walks. On clear days, the hills offer panoramic views of the snow-capped Ala-Too peaks. The air here is crystal-clear and invigorating.

There are cafés, hotels, and even glamping yurts on site for those who want to stay overnight and wake up to the wind rustling in the fir branches. Chunkurchak is the perfect quick escape from the city to recharge, relax, and reconnect with nature.

Sky Bridge

The Sky Bridge is one of Kyrgyzstan’s most breathtaking landmarks, located in the mountains near Chunkurchak Gorge. It’s a suspension bridge at over 3,000 meters above sea level, stretched between cliffs with dizzying views of the surrounding ridges and valleys. Walking across it is a true adventure: underfoot is a transparent mesh and hundreds of meters of open space, with the vast Tien Shan all around you.

This spot is perfect for adrenaline seekers, stunning photography, and unforgettable memories. It’s especially magical at sunset, when the peaks glow in golden and pink hues. In good weather, you can see snow-capped summits and alpine meadows - making this walk not only extreme, but incredibly scenic too.

From the moment we left Bishkek, Konstantin turned our trip into a real holiday. The atmosphere was simply mesmerizing, and the views of the Tien Shan will stay with me for life!

I never thought that a one-day trip could give so much drive! Konstantin showed all the beauties of Ala-Archa, the stops for photos at the Sky Bridge were like on a movie set. Each location is a real boost of energy, and the return journey flew by unnoticed with the guide's stories.

This tour was a great way to escape the bustle of the city and fill up with the energy of nature. The route is thought out to the smallest detail, and the view of the Sky Bridge is impressive to the point of goosebumps. The organization is impeccable - the car is comfortable, the guide is a professional.

The trip exceeded all our expectations! I would especially like to highlight our guide Konstantin, who made this day truly unforgettable. His extensive knowledge, sincere enthusiasm and ability to tell a fascinating story created a unique atmosphere. Konstantin is not only a true professional in his field, but also an amazing person who sincerely loves his region and strives to share this love with everyone. Thanks to him, we were able to delve deeper into the history and culture of the region, learning many fascinating facts and legends. I definitely recommend this excursion to anyone who wants to spend a day usefully and with pleasure!

The excursion turned out to be simply magnificent! Despite the cloudy weather, we were able to enjoy the stunning mountain scenery. In the park, we were able to feed squirrels right from our hands, take cute pictures with birds that landed on our palms, and film a running weasel. Konstantin is great at choosing places for lunch (we spent three days with him on excursions). He captured our crossing of the floating bridge on video from a drone, and we are looking forward to the photos and video. Traveling along mountain roads and overcoming obstacles was easy in a comfortable Toyota Sequoia SUV, driven by Konstantin. Dinner on the top of the mountain was not only beautiful, but also very tasty! :)

We had originally planned the excursion for a specific date, but when we learned about bad and cloudy weather, we contacted our guide Konstantin and agreed to reschedule the trip for the next available day. Fortunately, such a slot was found, and the weather really pleased us - clear and clean skies. Konstantin turned out to be a very nice person, an excellent driver and a fascinating conversationalist. He was happy to answer all our questions, shared interesting stories from his life and other trips, without being snobbish, as many guides do, who can be offended by refusals. We felt comfortable, including in the car in which he picked us up from the hotel. Unfortunately, due to our flight from Bishkek on the day of the excursion, we were not able to visit all the planned locations. We had a choice between lunch in a beautiful and cozy place (the Supara ethno-complex) and a ride on a chairlift followed by a descent on a zipline. We chose the latter, and it turned out to be a great decision. The views of the mountains, rivers and gorges were simply stunning, incredibly beautiful and atmospheric, especially since we left early in the morning and avoided the crowds of tourists. The suspension bridge became a separate attraction that should not be underestimated - it is definitely worth visiting. I definitely recommend this excursion and Konstantin as a guide, who took us to the airport on time. He has other routes, too bad there was not enough time for everything, but this is just a reason to come back.

The excursion turned out to be simply magnificent, with stunning views. We drove with Konstantin to several interesting places, walked in the mountains and enjoyed rest in a cozy national restaurant. All impressions were only positive - this is an excellent choice for those who cannot afford multi-day hikes in the mountains. In one day, Konstantin will demonstrate amazing mountain landscapes.

I really liked everything! The tour was tailored to our wishes, and we were offered several routes in the park. We chose the most difficult one and did not regret it - 7 hours of hiking in the mountains alone with nature were simply fantastic. The tour guide was very polite and told us a lot of fascinating things about the country, and also recommended great places in Bishkek. I especially want to note that they quickly helped us return a jacket forgotten in the car.
