What to Expect

A Modern Ski Resort with a Rich History

Orlovka is the first ski resort in Kyrgyzstan to introduce artificial snowmaking and lighting for night skiing. Operating since 1984, it has become one of the most modern ski bases in Central Asia. Today, it features nine slopes ranging from 150 to 2890 meters, elevation differences up to 560 m, chairlifts and surface lifts, a snowboard fun park with a halfpipe, instructors, and an equipment rental point.

Skiing for All Levels

Beginners can start on the “Malysh” training slope and gentle “green” runs, while experienced riders will enjoy fast “red” slopes and the challenging “black” run called “Enthusiast.” The slopes are groomed daily with snowcats and covered with artificial snow if needed, allowing skiing from December to April.

Sauna, Relaxation, and Café at the Foot of the Slopes

After skiing, unwind in a Russian banya with a steam room, enjoy hot tea with honey, and relax in a cozy café overlooking the mountains. The menu includes homemade pilaf, grilled dishes, and signature mulled wine. For those who wish, a photo session at sunset with snowy pines creates perfect memories.

Rodelbahn and Summer Adventures

If you enjoy Orlovka in winter - come back in summer! The resort operates a rodelbahn - an 860-meter alpine coaster where you can speed down the track on a sled. You can also go horseback riding or explore scenic hiking trails nearby. Orlovka is a year-round destination for active mountain recreation in Kyrgyzstan.

Family Atmosphere and Safety

The resort is popular among families with children: playgrounds, instructors, rescue service, and a medical station ensure safe and comfortable recreation. On weekends, the slopes are illuminated for night skiing.

The Winter Atmosphere of Kyrgyzstan

Bright sunshine, crisp snow, the scent of pine, and fresh mountain air - all create the feeling of a true winter holiday. Orlovka is the perfect escape from Bishkek’s bustle for a peaceful day in the mountains.
